10 Things I Never Want to Do

We all have our bucket list of things we want to do before we kick the bucket. I’m an overachiever. Not only do I have my bucket list, but I also have a reverse bucket list to boot.

A Grande Life | Reverse Bucket List

1. Climb Mount Everest: Or any mountain formation that is more than 10 feet high. I have an insane fear of heights and you wouldn’t catch me up there. I don’t care how great the view is or how exhiliarting it is. I am perfectly fine with my feet planted firmly on the ground.

2. Go to Australia: There is no way I could see myself sitting on a plane for a million hours. Not only do I have an insane fear of heights, but I have an insane fear of flying. I think it would be the best for all parties involved for me to stick to the continentalΒ United States. However, I do plan on visiting Italy just once. I will do whatever it takes to get me there: booze, pills, tranquilizer.

3. Be a Millionaire: Sure, I can have millionaire tastes from time to time. But with millionaire tastes and money, come millionaire problems. No amount of money in the world is enough to put up with the crap.

4. Have Another Baby: I am done. Finished. Finito. This body will not produce another living being every. Done.

5. Give Up Coffee:Β It will be a cold day in hell the day I give up coffee for good. I can, however, say that I am no longer dependent on it. I only drink itΒ occasionallyΒ now as a treat. But give it up for good? Hell to the no.

6. Go Camping: This one makes me laugh. Never in my life have I ever entertained the idea of going camping. There’s a reason why we have hotels…so we don’t have to sleep in a tent in the woods!

7. Bungee Jump:Β See #1.

8.Β Not Eat Bull Testicles: I guess Fear Factor is out as well!

9. Skydive: Notice a theme here.

10. Be a Truck Driver: I may swear like a trucker driver, but, trust me, you don’t need me behind the wheel of a Semi.

What is something you would neverΒ want to do?

  1. I would NEVER want to stop reading this blog.

    This is fantastic.

    And hilarious.

And true in almost every aspect except that I DO like camping…

    MWAH!

    1. Those people on Fear Factor are insane. I don’t think there has ever been a stunt that I would actually participate in.

  2. Fear Factor made my list too! In the form of laying in a tank of snakes :O) Bull testicles are right up there. Wouldn’t want to do that either. No way no how! I’m with you on the millionaire thing…THAT much money equals problems. Couple thousand would do me JUST FINE though :O)

And coffee…I just….uh…literally stutter at the thought of even… (whispering) giving it up.

  3. Bull testicles?! Freakin NASTYYY! And I have a fear of heights too, but for some reason flying doesnt bother me.

    1. It’s not the height that scares me when flying. It’s a claustrophobia thing. I hate feeling like I can’t get out of somewhere if I had to.

  4. I agree with almost all of these!! Although, I do want to go to Australia one day – my friend is from there, and she said I would love it. The long flight will suck, but someday, i’ll do it! The rest..well.. no thank you! Great idea for a post πŸ™‚

    1. It’s not that I wouldn’t want to go to Australia. I just don’t think I could handle the flight!

  5. Love this post! Found your blog by following a link on another blog. I am with you on nearly everything πŸ™‚ Although I do love to go camping. Your #4 would have to be tops on my list. I love my kids more than words can express, but 4 is enough!

Also at the top of my list would be ever getting on an airplane again after our last plane flight where the plane dropped and I thought we were all going to die. This was followed by 3 hours of turbulence and horrible nausea because I was stuck in the back of the plane. Worst flight ever!

  6. Bahahaha…love it! Ok, some of those things are actually on my to-do list…sky diving, Australia, and camping (ok I actually camp all the time…it is on the “to-done” list). I don’t have many on my Not to-do list, but cave diving and traveling to the middle east are two.

  7. We have a few in common. I will not, ever have another child either. I am done, done, done, done, done, can’t say done enough. I love my children with all my heart, but pregnancy, labour and delivery of #3 drew the line at anymore. πŸ™‚
