Because you always wanted to know everything about me, right?
1. What is with your coffee obsession?
Correction. It is not an obsession. It is an addiction. At least I can admit it. I never had a cup of coffee until college. I slowly entered the arena of coffee drinking, starting out with sugary drinks with tons of whipped cream. Then the mother of all finals hit. Child Development Psychology. The final was covering everything from birth to adolescent. And I couldn’t remember it all! I stayed up all night studying for that final with frequent trips to the student union for Triple {yes, triple} shot espressos. By the time I made it to class for the final, I was shaking and buzzing. I flew through the test just in time to feel myself coming off the caffeine high. I practically ran back to my dorm in enough time to crash on the bed. And that is where my love affair truly began!
2. When you aren’t drinking coffee, what is in your cup?
Diet Coke. With Iced Tea as a close second.
3. How did you get started with photography?
I have to admit I am a momtographer {mamarazzi, MWAC, etc}. After E was born, I wanted to take pictures constantly. I wanted to document every aspect of his life. First, I started with a hybrid P&S/dSLR. After a few months, I knew that wasn’t enough. I wanted to do more, take more, and I needed more camera. After many debates with the hubster, we took the plunge and I bought a dSLR. I haven’t looked back since then. I am self-taught and always learning. I was told long ago that I had a creative eye and I see that come out in my photographs. I was fortunate enough to have some great friends who nudged pushed me into pursuing this as a career. {Psst…check out some of my tips for taking better pictures over at Girls Lunch Out!}.
4. What TV character do you most identify with?
I really don’t identify myself with any TV characters. However, my husband has an opinion on this one. He loves the King of Queens. Every night {seriously, every night}, I hear “That is so you” in reference to Carrie. The way she acts, the way she talks, he says is so me. I swear I am not that mean! Well maybe sometimes.
5. What would I find in your refrigerator right now?
Oh dear God, don’t go near my fridge! I can’t even tell you when the last time I cleaned that sucker out. I am sure there a bunch of science experiments in there. Maybe I should do that sometime soon!
Have a question for me? Leave one in the comments and I’ll do a Round Two next week!

I followed you over from Mama Kat’s. Love your questions. #4 is hilarious! Good idea to invite others to ask questions too. I hope you don’t mind that I borrowed this idea as well. It was clever.
What’s in your cup now that you don’t have to stay up all night? I’m so in love with the PSL. Yummy. And eggnog latte is my Christmastime drink.
You are a woman of my own heart! I heart coffee so hard, sometimes I wonder if I would be upset if my Husband went missing so long as there were pounds of coffee hanging out in the freezer. Coffee works MIRACLES.
It really is a miracle worker!
I have a new coffee lust[ing] ever since I had my second son. When I don’t have it, I want to kick myself. I. Love. Leah. Remini! I’m now following. Love your blog!

I was late to coffee drinking and didn’t start until my second kidlet was about 14 months old. And for a few years, developed the Starbuck’s habit. Though, now, my preference is coffee from home with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and liquid stevia. And the other day, I made a pumpkin spice coffee at home that was delish and cost less than a buck! :>
I love Carrie!!! And in my fridge….I really need to clean that out! Some science experiments for sure!! My coffee habit is definitely an addiction and I have just started using Godiva Chocolate liquor as my creamer!!!
Godiva Chocoate Liquor you say?
I do and it is wonderful!
Great questions and answers! I’m totally with you on the coffee and I shan’t mention my refrigerator either – gah!
Stopping by from Mama Kat’s
My fridge is always a mess! I need to get on that!
Stopping by from Mama Kats too! I am looking at all the FAQs as I am working on my redesign and will be using FAQs for my “about me” page. Looking for good questions. Can I steal your fridge and TV character question? Those are good! Let’s see a question for you…I neglected to look at your “Who am I” tab before asking so apologies if it is there…Are you a SAHM, WAHM, or Working mamma? What is one tradition you do every year? Maybe for a birthday, Christmas, anniversary, etc…? If you are interested in asking me a question I am gathering here: http://www.farfromperfectmamma.com/b/post-preview?token=hwrqajMBAAA.gkIPL0HBjEaPH9BpS4UAnA.oKtomqhpl4Uh3qVYjKRkEQ&postId=4544128301976158250&type=POST
Nice to meet you Carrie!
Steal away!!!
This is neat! Always nice to get to know everyone a little better… what makes them tick!
I was surprised to find out you haven’t been doing photography for that long and that you are self-taught — awesome!
I mean, I’ve always loved taking pictures. But I didn’t really start to get into it until E was born. And yes, I am self-taught! The technical stuff goes right over my head! I’m more of a practice makes perfect type of person.
Coffee addiction AND Carrie clone?? I think we’re supposed to be best friends
Well hello new best friend!
Dropping by from Mama Kat’s – love the fridge question! Coffee addict/lover/etc here too! I used to work at the original SBUX
That only fed my addiction further ha
I have contemplated getting a PT job there but I would be wasting all my hard earned money on drinks!
Funny how coffee draws us in with the sugary sweetness and then we move on to the hard stuff! I love the college story and will stick around to see how much you are like Carrie – I love her!
I am all about the hard stuff these days!
How did you get started in designing blogger templates.
And thanks for the tips on taking better photos! I love to take pics of my newborn
And eggnog latte is my Christmastime drink. I have a new coffee lust[ing] ever since I had my second son. It was clever.
