Are You #MomEnough?

I’m sure by now you’ve read or seen the new TIME magazine article asking “Are you mom enough?“. If the author’s goal was to add fuel to the mommy wars, then mission accomplished. I could sit here and write a book about what I think about this article. But I have neither the time nor the energy to put any more into this ongoing war.

Instead, I am linking up with Kelly’s meme “Mom Enough.” We are sharing the reasons why we are mom enough. No article in TIME magazine can take these things away from us.

are you mom enough

are you mom enough

are you mom enough

Are you mom enough?

  1. I just heard about this on the radio this morning… crazy!
I love your pics and your reasons! From following your blog and tweets, I know you are a good mom of two loving boys!! Good for you!

  2. Awesome reasons that you are Mom Enough.
(ps – you may not have makeup on, but you look lovely)!

  3. This is AWESOME! I’m totally doing this on my lunch hour…

  4. Is it bad that I really and truly think I’m mom enough because I love my kids? No reason needed, I just love them. And that is good enough for me!

  5. I’m not really sure why we care how other people are raising their kids. You do your thing and I’ll do mine and we can all be happy…and friends. So sick of the media inflaming issues with their nonsense just to sell magazines, papers, and ad space. Rock on mamas, rock on!

  6. Brave to take & post a photo without makeup! I’d scare a few readers away I’m sure. :) I haven’t read the TIME article but have heard about all the buzz. The mom on the cover actually has a blog which I read a few times many months ago and she seems sweet and sincere. I’m not sure that the magazine represented her in the way that she wanted to come across. Like I said…haven’t read the article and I’m not sure that I will. :)

I see that you’re going to Bloggy Boot Camp in Philadelphia (I’ll be at the Vegas one) and BlogHer in NYC. That will be my first ever blogging conference and I’m so excited!

Thanks for stopping by to visit today!
