Every year on Halloween, we headed down to my sister’s neighborhood so the kids can Trick Or Treat together. Along with Trick or Treat-ing comes fun Halloween Food! I usually try and bring a fun, kid-friendly dessert while my sister handles the main course.
This year, I have been looking for some new Halloween Party food ideas and, naturally, turned to Pinterest! There are so many fun things that I just can not make up my mind.
Appetizers
Spiderweb Deviled Eggs- If you really want to spook-ify your Halloween party table, Spiderweb Deviled Eggs will do the trick for your treats.
Yummy Mummy Spinach Dip - An easy spinach dip served in a Mummy shaped bread bowl.
Mummy Dogs – Mummy dogs are such a fun twist on Pigs in a Blanket!
Monster Fingers and Eyeball Dip – A healthy Halloween treat!
Main Dishes
Halloween Cheeseburgers - Combine your love of grilling and all things spooky with Halloween cheeseburgers!
Creepy Crawly Chili - Before you send your little ones out to collect candy, fuel them up for the hunt with a bowl of creepy bug or bat topped chili.
Scary Skillet Shepard’s Pie - Very quick and easy!
Eyeball Tacos – Assemble your taco toppings to look like eyeballs!
Sides
Bug Salad – Add raisins to your salad for something a little buggy!
Halloween Pasta Salad with Mozzarella Eyeballs - A few mozzarella and olive eyeballs are an easy and fast way to spookify your pasta salad.
Sweet Potato Ghosts - A smooth mixture of sweet and boiling potatoes transforms into a cluster of adorable orange ghosts with the help of a pastry or resealable bag
Beverages
Ghostly Orange Hot Chocolate – A creative way to serve hot chocolate for Halloween.
Goblin Mimosas – Add some black vodka and cherries on a stick for this ghoulish drink!
Fruit Drink Spritzer with Wiggle Worm Ice - Candy worms make the Halloween punch just a little scary, and fruit juice and carbonated beverages make it refreshingly chilling.
Desserts
Franken Treats - These are so unbelievably easy to make and are a crowd favorite!
Dracula Dentures - My biggest issue with Halloween food is that although it may look cool, rarely does it actually taste good. I knew when I saw these that not only were they unique but they were made from chocolate chip cookies and frosting, something I could totally sink my teeth into.
Spooky Eyes Pretzel Bark – Fun bark made out of pretzel, chocolate, Oreos and M&Ms!
Edible Eyeballs – Super easy treat made with pretzels, chocolate melts, and M&Ms.
Candy Corn Parfait - Easy and kid-friendly. It is so fun and festive and different than the average Halloween cupcake or cookie.
Halloween Frog Bog - A fun jello snack for Halloween.
