Monday nights. I dread Monday nights. Monday nights are the nights that I have to get dinner on the table quickly in between homework and PREP class. There’s no time for elaborate meals or something that takes an hour to make. Monday nights call for a quick and easy dinner!
Skillet meals are always a go-to easy meal because they are typically one pot and done in about 20 minutes to a half hour. In my world, that’s perfect! It means I can get food on the table and the kids out the door in time for our evening activities while knowing that they had a good dinner as well.
To cut down on my cooking time even more, I recently tried Campbell’s® Sauces. Um, where has this been all my life?
While my son was doing his homework, I was able to brown the ground beef and cook the pasta. By the time he was done and ready for me to check it, dinner was bubbling on the stove ready for the table!
In 20 minutes, I not only helped him with his homework but also had dinner on the table. Now, that’s what I call winning!
Oh and don’t worry yourself over not having the right pasta on hand. Any pasta will do! Shop that pantry and don’t let a missing ingredient stop you from having an easy dinner ready for your family.
- 1 lb ground beef
- ½ cup uncooked pasta
- Campbell’s® Sauces Bacon Cheddar Beef
- Cook and drain pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, cook beef in skillet over medium-high heat. Pour off any fat.
- Stir pasta and sauce in skillet and cook until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
