Even though the weather outside is hot and steamy, I am longing for fall. We had a taste of it last week and it was glorious! As the seasons turn, our summer supplies get put away and the fall and winter essentials start taking over. There are a few things that help me with the transition!
For the Kids
Hoodies: I’m not the only one that loves their hoodie come fall! We have so many laying around the house. They are the perfect for our fall weather, when it’s not quite cold enough for a winter coat yet.
Pop Up Storage Cups: From school lunches to snacks for Fall Ball, these Pop Up Cups are perfect! They can hold a variety of snacks like crackers, grapes, and even yogurt!
Sneakers: This year, we bought two pairs of new sneakers for the boys before school started. We picked a school pair and an at home pair. We are hoping this helps prolong how many times we have to buy new shoes during the school year!
Insulated Coffee Mug: Now that Ethan is gong to first grade and will be in school all day, that means we will be making the walk to school in the morning. Which means I need an insulated cup to keep my coffee warm on the walk!
Tote Handbag: My husband doesn’t understand why I have so many bags. When school starts, I need a bag big enough to fit my planner, wallet, and a hodge podge of supplies! The MZ Wallace Jane Tote is perfect as it has a ton of pockets and is roomy enough to fit everything without being bulky.
Slip On Sneakers: Soon my flip flops will be replaced by my go-to sneakers. They are easy to slip on in the morning and comfy for the walk to and from school. They are also great for running errands!
What are your fall essentials for yourself and the kids?
