Ask any person the #1 awful smell to get rid of in their home and I am pretty sure most would say burnt popcorn. Am I right? Sure having two young boys, there is a myriad of smells in the house but burnt popcorn? That’s a smell that lingers for days. And not a smell you want to linger for days on end.
That’s also not a smell you want when you have invited friends over for a movie night.
Reason 1: You have to sit there and smell it for at least two hours.
Reason 2: It means you burnt the popcorn.
Ask me how I know this.
Recently, we invited a few friends over for a long over due get together. It happens when you all have children and schedules are crazy. The stars just never align. But, sometimes, you just have to make it happen.
For everyone’s sanity.
When we invited everyone over we also did a little Noseblind Test.
What’s noseblindness? Noseblindness is a nasal condition where you become accustomed to the odors around you over time, which are created by the odor cycle. Odors from various activities are released inside your home where they can stay airborne or deposit on the soft surfaces that act like odor magnets (eww!). As a result, most suffer from noseblindness in their natural habitat, where they perceive a certain scent as “home” but don’t detect this familiar scent as malodorous.
You know what that all means?
It means that after our little Noseblind test I have been spraying everything down with Febreze! Febreze contains a molecule known as Cyclodextrin that traps and eliminates odors. Febreze’s patented technology eliminates odors and leaves behind a pleasant scent.
You can conduct your own Noseblind test with your very own Febreze Noseblind Kit!
One lucky A Grande Life winner will win their very own #Noseblind kit! The Noseblind kit consists of (1) Febreze Air Effects, (1) Febreze Fabric Refresher, (1) Febreze Noticeables with refill, (1) Febreze Candle, and a $60 AMEX gift card!
