This is not a drill, people! Today, September 29, 2016 is National Coffee Day! And stores across the country are giving away FREE coffee! You could literally drive around town all day and collect your free coffee (if you are so inclined).
Before heading to your local store, I suggest you call or stalk their Facebook to make sure they are participating stores. I wouldn’t want you to show up expecting FREE coffee and be disappointed. So ask before you head out!
Here is a list of stores who are offering FREE coffee on National Coffee Day, September 29, 2016!
FREE Coffee for National Coffee Day
Dunkin’ Donuts. While, it’s not free (boo-hiss), you can grab a medium-sized cup of coffee for only 66 cents!
Krispy Kreme Doughnuts. No purchase is necessary for anyone who want to get in on the free deal. Just visit a store will get a free cup of coffee and a free glazed doughnut. Now that’s what I call a sweet deal!
Pilot Flying J. The gas station and truck-stop chain will give a free small cup of coffee – or another hot beverage like tea and cappuccino – to those who can show the online coupon available from the company’s Facebook page.
Wawa. Stop at any of Wawa’s more than 700 locations and walk away with a free coffee of any size.
Cumberland Farms. On National Coffee Day, Cumberland Farms is giving away a free Farmhouse Blend or Bold coffee, hot or iced, in any size. To get one, customers must text the word FREECOFFEE to 64827 using their smartphone, and will receive a mobile coupon for a free hot or iced coffee, in any size the coupon can only be redeemed on National Coffee Day.
Peet’s Coffee. At participating locations, Peet’s Coffee will give away a free medium drip coffee with the purchase of any fresh food item.
The following stores aren’t giving away free coffee but they are giving back to support a cause on National Coffee Day!
McDonald’s restaurants in southeastern Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey will donate all proceeds from regular and decaffeinated drip coffee on National Coffee Day to Covenant House, a group that helps homeless young people.
My favorite coffee house, Starbucks, is donating donate one rust-resistant coffee tree for every cup of Mexico Chiapas coffee it sells on National Coffee Day!
