Trick or {Delicious Popcorn} Treat?

There are so many candy options out there to hand out on Halloween. But sometimes, you want to think beyond the candy!  There are plenty of non-candy alternatives out there, you just have to find them.

One great non-candy alternative I have found is GH Cretors Popped Corn. If you like caramel corn, you are going to love this!

GH Cretors Popped Corn comes in a few varieties:

  • Chicago Mix combines cheese corn and caramel corn in the same bag! This popcorn combo offers delicious hits of sweet, salty, crunchy and cheesy in every bite.
  • The caramel corn is made the old fashioned way: by hand, in copper kettles. Cane sugar, brown rice syrup {a non-GMO alternative to corn syrup with a lower glycemic impact} and real butter is heated over a flame and then stirred slowly by hand to develop its rich complex flavor and crunch.
  • For the cheese corn, real cheddar cheese is melted in special kettles and then gently mixed with locally-grown, air-popped corn. The result is a perfect combination of tastes, two-cheese to one-caramel in every bag.

And, these treats are all natural and completely free of GMO’s, artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives! Full size bags for parties are available at select natural food and mainstream grocery stores across the country, while single serve bags for trick-or-treaters can be purchased on their website! The single serve bags are not only good to hand out on Halloween but perfect to send to school instead of a bag of candy.

  1. ::Whew!:: So it loud – no corn syrup! It’s s hard to find treats without that stuff and (frankly) usually at Halloween and Easter I just give it and let the stuff into every corner of my life. Maybe this year I’ll hold the line. I’ll look for this corn!
