#JBFPhilly Shopping Haul – Spring 2014
Yesterday, I was invited to shop the pre-sale at the legendary Just Between Friends – Western Mainline consignment sale. And it didn’t disappoint. I mean this is the sale that needed to move to a bigger hall because they simply just outgrew the other one. Instead of shopping 35,000 square feet, the sale now covers over 60,000 square feet. And I hear that the fall sale will be moving to yet a bigger hall {over 75,000 square feet}.

That is just pure consignment heaven!
I had my list. I checked it twice. And I was ready! On a mission one would say.
So what did I get?
My first stop was the shoes. Both boys needed a new pair of brown “dress” shoes for some upcoming events. I always buy these at the consignment sale. They wear them a handful of times and I just can not justify paying full price. I found a practically brand new pair of Cherokees for Ben and slightly worn Mossimo’s for Ethan.
Cherokee Brown Shoes – $ 5
Mossimo Brown Shoes – $3
Total: $8
Now that I had the shoes crossed off the list it was time to get some clothes for Ethan. The poor kid has barely anything for the summer. I scored a pair of jeans, some mesh shorts, t-shirts, and a windbreaker.
Then it was time to run and grab the handful of things that I needed for Ben. I was able to snag everything on my list for him in under about 5 minutes. He got Khaki pants, jeans, a windbreaker, and an adorable Baby Gap outfit {for only $3.50!}
Clothes Total: $56
Another thing I look for at consignment sales is props for my newborn sessions. Hats and blankets can add up if you pay full price. I found of ton of hand knitted hats yesterday and I am set for some upcoming sessions.
10 Hats – $10
And because I can’t resist bringing home something fun for them to play with, I grabbed this huge box of Lego Duplos for only $10. They included Cars and Thomas pieces so I knew the boys would love it. I also picked up a road playing mat for them to build their tracks on for only $5.
Lego Duplos – $10
Road Playing Mat – $5
Total: $15
And the grand total is….$89! Yup, all of that for only $89!
