I am not gonna lie. This week was tough. I started off the week at my niece’s communion which was followed by dinner at an Italian Restaurnt. While I strayed off plan, I know I made good choices. I loaded up on the salad and stuck with just the protein for dinner. I’m gonna go ahead and call that one a win.
That is the one thing I am loving most about Nutrisystem. On the days where I do stray off plan, it’s really easy to eat within in the plan guidelines. Stick to the veggies. Eat some protein. Skip the sweets. It doesn’t really get much easier than that! And let’s not forget, drink lots of water!
I had two surprise favorites this week. I am continually surprised with how much I am enjoying all of the food on Nurtisystem.
My first surprise favorite was the Peanut Butter Granola bar. Normally, I am not huge fan of peanut butter. Don’t get me wrong, when you pair it with chocolate, I’ll throw it down like the best of them. But alone? I usually shy away from it. I was suprised that it wasn’t dry and crumbly like other Peanut Butter bars I’ve had in the past.
My other surprise favorite was the Banana Nut Muffin. Again, normally something I wouldn’t eat but I was pleasantly surprised with it!
And now for the weigh-in!
Yup! I hit a magic number. 10 pounds! In only three weeks. It really is amazing how the scale is moving. I know there will be times that it doesn’t move as fast as I want but as long as it keeps moving that’s all that matters, right?
