True story: I am allergic to garlic. Yup, allergic to garlic. I know it sounds like one of those made-up allergies but it’s for real! And it makes me really sad because I absolutely LOVE garlic. I used to be able to eat a freshly roasted piece of garlic smashed on garlic toast. Those were the days.
Just because my body no longer tolerates my love of garlic, doesn’t mean I can’t look at recipes using garlic lovingly. Dreaming of being able to eat them without sending myself into a nightmare for the rest of the evening.
