I really wanted the Moby baby wrap but just could not justify spending the $40 on it. After searching the internet, I came across Wear Your Baby. They had the easiest directions for making your own baby wrap.
- Go to the fabric store and buy 5 yards of cotton jersey. You’re looking for fabric that’s 60 inches wide as well. You’re looking for a fabric that has some stretch to it, but not too much. All of this material is enough to make 2-3 wraps.
- Lay your fabric out and cut into strips at least 20 inches wide and 5 yards long. You can also cut it into 30 or 45 inches wide. If you pick a knit fabric like jersey cotton, there is no need to hem. The cut ends will just roll over.
- Now learn how to wear your wrap. Wear Your Baby has great instructional videos on how to wear your wrap.
