Mom Style 2.0: Summer Stylin’ Better Together

This post is sponsored by P&G. With Tide®, Downy® and Bounce®, you can keep your summer fashions looking new up to 50% longer.

My old summer “uniform” used to be capris,  t-shirt, and flip flops. There’s nothing wrong with the standard summer outfit but I have been trying to up my game.  I have been adding some new pieces to my summer wardrobe.

I have been adding a bunch of dresses to my summer collection much to my own surprise. I used to hate dresses but there are perfect for summer. Especially on those dreadfully hot days. Last week, when it was mid-90’s, we had a day out planned. I threw on a cute, jersey dress and my favorite black leather sandals. It was super causal, super cute, and super comfy! It was really hot so I skipped wearing any jewelry but I would dress it up a bit by adding a long necklace and chunky bracelet.

Another one of my favorite outfits that just go better together is a white tee and denim skinnies {the darker the better}. There are so many ways you can dress this up or keep it casual. If I am going out, I throw on my coral bib necklace, simple gold bangle and hoops, and my silver and gold sandals. I’ll bring my navy cardigan with me in case I get chilly.

Of course not only do you need outfits that better together, but you need to have the right equipment in your laundry arsenal. Tide {to keep your whites brighter}, Downy {to keep everything extra soft}, and Bounce {to combat the static cling!}. When you put the three together, your summer stylin’ wardrobe will be at it’s best. I love that all three products come in fragrance free to keep my sensitive skin rash free! But, if you like a little scent to your clothes, Tide, Downy, and Bounce have some great summer scents!

  1. YES! I’m changing up my wardrobe too – just because I’m a SAHM doesn’t mean I can’t showcase my funky, artsy style! My faves are a funky skirt with gladiator sandals and a tank. Then interesting accessories.

  2. I am trying to get some new clothes too — The idea of dresses is still not too much me, although i’d like to try some of the longer summer dresses, especially when going out on date night, etc. I’m trying to add more funky colors!

  3. Dresses! I have been rocking the dresses to work now. I got into a work slump! Not good!
