5 Minute Makeup Routine #BeautyInspiration

I will admit it. I am one of those people that has to have makeup on when they leave the house. I mean, you never know who you are going to run into! I also suffer from the world’s worst under eye circles. If I’m not wearing makeup, I’ll surely get the “Oh you look tired” or “Oh are you feeling alright?”? from the people I do run into. It’s taken me a while but I have my 5 minute makeup look down! 

Just because I have to put my face on before I leave the house doesn’t mean it has to be a full face. Most days, I throw on some foundation, a little bronzer, and mascara. That’s it! It’s enough to perk my face up and make me look alive and ready to rock the day.

Recently, I was asked to try out Rimmel’s Stay Matte Foundation and their new  Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara. I grabbed them when I was out running errands at Walmart and I am so glad I did. These were the perfect addition to my everyday makeup routine!

So how to do I go from zombie to ready to walk out the door in less than 5 minutes? It’s so easy!

5 Minute Makeup Routine

Step 1: Start with a clean and moisturized face. Begin by applying Rimmel’s Stay Matte Foundation with a foundation brush all over your face. If you need more coverage {especially under those eyes}, add some concealer. Once your face is covered in foundation, use a stipple brush to blend the foundation and concealer.

Step 2: Give yourself a sun kissed look with some bronzer!  I was never a fan of blush {I blame the 80s} and prefer the natural look the bronzer gives you. 

Step 3: Use a neutral eyeshadow palette to give your eyes a pick me up. I tend to go with lighter shades to make my eyes look bright and awake! Finish with Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara.  Hands down this is one of the best mascaras. I loved that this wasn’t too clumpy and it didn’t make my eyelashes too over the top. Perfect for every day!

Step 4: Throw on your favorite lip gloss!

There you have it from drab to every day fab in less than 5 minutes!
