Life with Spirit
Most of my days look the same. We have a routine and barely deviate from it. Our day pretty much goes something like this: wake up way too early, coffee, make breakfast, do dishes, coffee, throw in a load of laundry, coffee, run errands, forget about laundry in washer, lunch, nap, work, work, coffee, work, make dinner, clean up, bath, bed time. Lather, rinse, repeat.
It’s easy to forget to have some fun every now and then. To lose the spirit in our life.
Wanna know our secret in putting the spirit back in our life? We make it a habit to turn life’s every day, boring moments into teachable moments.
We dance. Moving is good for the body and the mind!
We sing. It’s a great outlet for emotions and self-expression.
We get messy. If you aren’t getting messy, you aren’t having fun!
We snuggle. Recharging your batteries is important, it leads to more dancing!
We laugh. After all, it is the best medicine.
We’re goofy! It’s important to always use are imaginations.
When I look at it on “paper”, I guess our days aren’t too mundane. The spirit is always there. It’s just so easy to lose sight of it.
