Get the kids in the kitchen with these kids cookbooks!
I don’t know about your kids but my kids are obsessed with cooking shows lately. It all started with Halloween Wars continued into Holiday Baking Challenge and now we are watching all of the kids’ cooking shows we can find.
Teaching kids to cook is so important. It’s a life skill, that unfortunately, has been gone overlooked. I want to make sure my own children have a good cooking background so that they can thrive as adults. It also doesn’t hurt to have help in the kitchen!
When kids are part of menu planning and cooking meals, they have an active interest in what it takes to get dinner on the table. They are proud of what they accomplished! And, hopefully, want to continue cooking.
To keep my kids interested in cooking, I snagged some kids’ cookbooks to find recipes that they can make on their own! Of course, always supervise your children in the kitchen.
