Best Recipes of 2014
I can not believe that 2014 is coming to a close! That can only mean one thing. It’s time to take a look back on the year and, today, I am sharing with you my favorite top 10 recipes from 2014.
A Grande Life’s Best Recipes of 2014
I created this recipe when I was craving one of my favorite meals from a local Mexican restaurant. I was so surprised how easy it was to make this queso blanco at home!
Growing up, my mom always brought the same thing to family functions, Cinnamon Swirl Cake. It was a staple. You just knew she would bringing one. It was the perfect ending to a night with family and it went well with a cup of coffee. But I was shocked when she shared the recipe with me!
These are really simple to make and, the best part, the kids can help you! Just make sure you count your Oreos out because they will try and sneak some when you aren’t looking.
One of the easiest recipes is Taco Dip. Not only is this great for the parties at your home but it’s perfect when you need to bring something to a party. In about 10 minutes, you have an appetizer that looks like it took way longer and everyone will love it. I promise.
Mini-Chocolate Cherry Cheesecakes
I have never dared to make cheesecake. Not even a no bake cheesecake. I don’t know why. I guess I have always been intimated by it. That was until a friend shared her recipe for the easiest cheesecake ever.
Popcorn + M&Ms = Popcorn Cake! It looks fancy. It’s easy to make. And it’s very inexpensive.
One of the kids’ favorites treats are chocolate chip muffins. They are so easy to make some healthy swaps! This time, I threw in those mushy bananas in there. And while I was at it some peanut butter and applesauce.
Whip up these Captain America Shields for your next superhero party!
My family has been making these cookies for as far back as I can remember. Every year, we pick a date for cookie day, gather at my parent’s house, and roll and decorate cookies all day long. These are by far my favorite Christmas cookie. And they go great along with a tall glass of ice cold milk.
Crunchy BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad
This was another recreation of a dinner I’ve grabbed a million times from a local restaurant. The salad part was easy to copy. It was the BBQ Ranch dressing that was giving me issues! But I finally figured it out!
