#VisitLancaster: Bird-In-Hand Inn & Restaurant

Disclosure: I received a complimentary trip to Lancaster, PA. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

If you follow on me on Instagram {and if you aren’t, you should be}, you know that my family and I spent this past weekend in Lancaster, PA checking out all of the fun family attractions! The weather was absolutely perfect for being outside and running around {which the kids did…a lot}.

When we weren’t running through the countryside, we were resting {and playing some more} at the Bird-In-Hand Inn & Restaurant. This Inn is hands down one of the best hotels we have stayed. It is very family friendly with a lot of things for the kids to do.

Like a playground…

…and a petting zoo…

…and a duck pond…

…3 pools!…

…and mini-golf!

The Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant & Smorgasbord is also right on site and an easy walk from your room, which is perfect because you will definitely need to walk off your meal! So yummy. So many choices. Every day, the menu and smorgasbord is full of traditional Lancaster County recipes perfected by the Bird-In-Hand family for three generations and a genuinely friendly staff ready to make you feel right at home.

Ben’s favorite was definitely the petting zoo. He had so much fun feeding the goats and was cracking up at them.

Ethan, well, Ethan loved it all. As we were leaving he asked when we were coming back! We will definitely be paying the Bird-In-Hand Inn & Restaurant a visit soon.

  2. Thanks for this review! Looks like you had a great time. I will keep this place in mind when we go up for the Cherry Crest Maze (we already have tickets). We’ll need place to stay in August and I think this might just be the place because of the kid things they have to offer. Thanks for focusing on that.
