Brewhouse Inn & Suites | #Milwaukee

This past weekend, I stayed at the coolest hotel…ever. Before I go any further, let me say, I am in no way being compensated for this review. It really is just that cool.

Now that we have that out of the way. Let me give you a little background on this historic hotel.

The Brewhouse Inn & Suites was once the home of the Pabst Brewing Company! For more than 150 years, the Pabst Brewery was a main focal point of downtown Milwaukee. The brewery closed its doors in 1996, leaving an uncertain future for the downtown block that it occupied. In 2006, the brewery complex was purchased by philanthropist Joseph Zilber’s investment group to create The Brewery, a complex that will house residential, office and retail space—and with Brewhouse Inn and Suites, developed by Gorman & Company, Inc., a 90-room all-suite green hotel, as the flagship project.

The hotel is a 90 room, all suite hotel, with rooms ranging from studio suites, one bedroom suites, and two bedroom suites.

All rooms are equipped with full kitchens {stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and most importantly, a Keurig!}, HD flat planel TV’s, FREE WiFi, and include complimentary breakfast.

The interior design of the hotel is Neo-Victorian, Industrial, Steam Punk. This style uses interior finishes, furnishings, and textrues that evoke a very modernized Victorian feel. The former use a a brewery  enhances the  industrial feel of the hotel, with lots of exposed metal beams, the copper brew kettles, two story stained glass window, and Milwaukee cream city brick.
