#AllThingsEaster: Chocolate Dipped Pretzels and Rice Krispie Treats

With Easter coming this weekend, many of us are planning our dinner {and dessert} menus for the big dinner! And let’s not forget about the decorations and the special touches that will make our holiday memorable. Colleen of Souffle Bombay and Heather of Real: The Kitchen and Beyond gathered together 26 fabulous bloggers {including myself!} to share some of their Easter Entertaining Ideas with you!

From Jelly Bean Trees to a Giant Deviled Egg, we have got you covered! And? We have TWO amazing giveaways to help make your Easter even more memorable!

But first, let’s talk about yummy Easter treats!

For whatever reason, I am always the one in charge of bringing fun treats for the kids! It’s a perfect combination for me. They tend to be easy and are always cute.

This year, I went super easy. We are going to be traveling over Easter and may pop over to my sister’s on Easter Sunday. I wanted to be prepared but also whip something up that wouldn’t go bad.

I went to my old standby of chocolate covered pretzels. I mean really, they are about as simple as simple gets.

But I also wanted to do a little more. So I thought, “Self, what else can we dip?”

And that’s when it came to me. Rice Krispie Treats!

and then melt chocolate, dip, and decorate!

Let them dry and you are done. That’s it! A quick and easy treat to bring with you to Easter dinner to help create memories.

  1. This is perfect for my son’s bday treat at school. Rice Krispy treats are “school safe” right? Dumb Q though…. where do you buy lollipop sticks????

  8. Brilliant! Love these. But I must know… How did you get your krispie treats to be so perfectly cut? Do you have one of those individual brownie pans or something? Mine NEVER look this good – do tell!

  9. These are perfect to take to a class party or make as part of your edible decor for Easter. I know kids AND adults that would love these, including ME.
