Christmas at The Inn at Pocono Manor

This post is in partnership with The Inn at Pocono Manor. All opinions are my own.

Christmas time is all about making memories with the family. From traditions like baking cookies to weekend family getaways, there are tons of ways you can create some Christmas magic.

This year, we traveled to the Poconos to check out The Inn at Pocono Manor. Growing up, my family always vacationed in the Poconos at my grandfather’s mountain house. Because we had a place to stay, we never ventured out to other locations. Now, we’ve been exploring the Poconos and all it has to offer.

The Inn at Pocono Manor

The Inn at Pocono Manor has earned a coveted designation on the National Registry of Historic Places. They have been welcoming guests since 1902 and know everything it takes to provide guests with a true mountain resort experience: comfortable accommodations, great meals, a great variety of indoor and outdoor facilities and amenities, flexible meeting space, highly personalized service, an attentive staff, and much more.

The 240 guest rooms and suites are decorated in keeping with the period style of this century-old hotel, but provide all the modern comforts of home.

During their Magical Fireside Christmas, families can enjoy appearances by Santa Claus and his elves in their workshop, holiday crafts, writing letters to Santa, decorating cookies, as well as a spectacular 10,000 sq. ft. holiday light display with ornamented trees and a life size gingerbread house.

Guests can also meet Rudolph and his team, or cozy up with a cup of hot cocoa from the gourmet hot chocolate bar, featuring a kids menu and specialty liqueur menu for adults. Evening bonfires set a cozy stage for roasting s’mores, while three large trees representing past, present, and future Christmases will be on display, inviting guests to explore the resort’s history and also share well wishes for the future.

On the weekends, at bedtime for the children, parents can schedule the resort’s Elf Turndown Service complete with milk and cookies as well as a jolly holiday story read by one of Santa’s helpers. Start your day off right with breakfast with Saint Nick, happening every Sunday from December 1st through the 18th.
