Cinnamon Swirl Cake – Baked in a bundt pan to feed a crowd, this delicious cake has a cinnamon swirl in the middle.

Growing up, my mom always brought the same thing to family functions, Cinnamon Swirl Cake. It was a staple. You just knew she would bringing one. It was the perfect ending to a night with family and it went well with a cup of coffee.

Imagine my surprise when I asked my mom for the Cinnamon Swirl Cake recipe and she dropped a bomb on me. The recipe was simply a boxed cake mix, pudding mix, and a handful of wet ingredients. I about dropped the phone.

All these years, I thought she was slaving over this!

How Do you Make Cinnamon Swirl Cake

To make this easy Cinnamon Swirl Cake, you will need:

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 box of Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of cinnamon sugar (separated)
  • powdered sugar, for topping

Next, preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix the yellow cake mix and vanilla pudding cake mix together.

Add all of your your wet ingredients and mix well.

Pour half of the cake mix into your bundt pan. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of the cinnamon sugar over cake mix.

Top with remaining cake mix. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of the cinnamon sugar on top. Using a knife or the handle of wooden spoon to swirl the cake mix together.

Bake for 45 minutes. Let cake cool then sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • 1 box of Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
