There’s nothing more refreshing than popsicles, right? If you’re a fan of Coke floats, you’re going to LOVE these Coke Float Pops!

What could be more refreshing on a hot summer day than a classic Coca-Cola float? Imagine taking that iconic flavor combination of Coca-Cola and vanilla ice cream and turning it into a frozen treat that you can enjoy on a stick.

Coca-Cola Float Frozen Pops are a delightful twist on the traditional float, offering a cool and creamy experience in every bite. These frozen pops will take your taste buds on a nostalgic journey while keeping you refreshed and cool all summer long.

Tips for Making Coca-Cola Float Frozen Pops

  • Experiment with different flavors: You can create variations of Coca-Cola Float Frozen Pops by using different ice cream flavors. Try chocolate or strawberry ice cream for a unique twist.
  • Add a fruity twist: For a fruity and refreshing twist, consider adding fresh fruit slices or pureed fruit to the base mixture. Strawberries, raspberries, or sliced peaches work well with the Coca-Cola flavor.
  • Make it diet-friendly: If you prefer a lighter version, you can use diet or zero-sugar Coca-Cola and low-fat or sugar-free vanilla ice cream.
  • For an extra touch of indulgence, you can add toppings to your Coca-Cola Float Frozen Pops. Place a dollop of whipped cream on top of each pop and garnish with a maraschino cherry. You can also drizzle some chocolate syrup over the whipped cream for a classic float presentation. Get creative and add your favorite toppings to make these frozen pops truly unique.

For this recipe, you will need pop molds, Coca-Cola™ and your favorite vanilla ice cream.

You are going to put your pops together just like you would a Coca-Cola Float. Start with a spoonful of vanilla ice cream on the bottom.

You want to make sure you use a spoon and not an ice cream scooper! Use the spoon to push the ice cream all the way down into the bottom of the pop mold.

Next, top with Coca-Cola. You want to make sure the Coca-Cola is cold so it doesn’t melt the ice cream. Also, pour slowly! We all know how the soda bubbles into a foam with making a float! Let it settle down and add more. You want to fill your pop about 3/4 of the way to the top leaving room for some frozen foam!

Top with a little more ice cream to hold it all together.  Add the tops to your pop molds and place in the freezer until firm! Make sure you leave a little bit of space at the top for expansion during freezing.

If you don’t have popsicle molds, you can use small paper cups or ice cube trays with popsicle sticks inserted in the center. Tap the molds gently on the counter to remove any air bubbles.

Carefully transfer the filled popsicle molds to the freezer. Allow them to freeze for about 30 minutes, or until the mixture begins to solidify. At this point, insert popsicle sticks into the molds, ensuring they are positioned securely in the center. Return the molds to the freezer and let them freeze completely for at least 4-6 hours, or preferably overnight.

When you’re ready to enjoy your Coca-Cola Float Frozen Pops, remove the molds from the freezer. To easily release the pops, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds. Gently pull the sticks to release the frozen pops from the molds. Place the popsicles on a tray or serve them individually.
