Cranberry Limeade Spritzer

This Cranberry Limeade Spritzer is the perfect festive drink for any holiday party! Made with freshly squeezed limes, cranberry juice, and refreshing  soda, your guests will love sipping on this bubbly treat!

I can not believe that Thanksgiving is just 2 weeks away! Thankfully, this year, I am not hosting and will simply arrive as a guest on Turkey Day. Oh, who’s kidding, anyone who knows me knows that I simply can not just show up. Of course I have to bring something with me.

In years past, I have made pies, desserts, and even side dishes, like stuffing and yams. This year, since we are trying to keep things simple, I thought “What about a fun drink?” Thanksgiving tends to get overlooked these days with Christmas being forced upon as soon as Halloween is over.

And that’s where the Cranberry Limeade Spritzer comes in. It’s not peppermint. It’s not pumpkin spice. Instead, it takes a staple of the Thanksgiving dinner, cranberries, and gives it a fun twist on a drink! You can make this Spritzer either with or without alcohol. That choice is yours!

What is a Cranberry Limeade Spritzer?

This Cranberry Limeade Spritzer is the perfect festive drink for your Thanksgiving dinner and will have your guests talking! Made with freshly squeezed limes, cranberry juice, and refreshing ginger all, your guests will love sipping on this bubbly treat!

How Do You Make a Cranberry Limeade Spritzer?

To make this drink for Thanksgiving, you will need cranberry juice (not cocktail!), ginger ale, and limeade (homemade, of course!). You can also use fresh limes and cranberries for a garnish.

You can make your own limeade at home using just water, Sweet’N Low®, and, of course, limes. You can enjoy the sweetness you love without the extra calories with the help of Sweet’N Low®!

Bring 6 cups water, 36 packets of Sweet’N Low® and salt to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat, stirring occasionally. Remove saucepan from heat, add reserved limes, cover, and let stand for 10 minutes. Mix in the juice of 8 limes to your simple syrup mix.

Next, add ice to your glasses and fill with about 2 oz of cranberry juice.

Top with another 2 oz of limeade. Now it’s time to add the bubbly! Add the ginger ale, cranberries, and a lime wedge as a garnish. Serve to your Thanksgiving guests chilled!
