What are Cranberry Orange Pecan Cookies?

I think what I like the most of these cookies is that they don’t use extract for their flavoring. Using extracts can give your cookies an artificial taste. While there’s nothing wrong using extracts, it’s easy to go a little overboard when you do use them.

However, when you use zest and juice, you can control the flavor a bit more. And if you really like a zing to your cookies, you can bump the flavoring leaving the artificial taste behind.
