Quick breads are one of my favorite things to bake! All the best quick breads, including banana bread, blueberry bread, pumpkin bread, and everything in between.
Quick breads get their name because they do not require yeast like traditional bread recipes. This means you don’t have to wait for the dough to raise. You simply throw all of your ingredients in the mixer, incorporate them, and pop the bread in the oven!
The hardest part is waiting for them to come out of the oven.
Tips for making quick bread:
- Combine all of your dry ingredients together by sifting them into a large bowl.
- Combine all of your wet ingredients in your stand mixer. Be careful not to over mix! You just want to be incorporate all of your ingredients together.
- Slowly add your dry ingredients into your wet ingredients. Mix gently.
- Add in nuts, chocolate chips, or fruit into your batter. Fold them in gently with a spatula.
