We have been doing the Elf on the Shelf for a few years now and I have learned a thing or two. During the month of December, our Elf is a constant reminder for our boys to make sure they are being nice.

That they are being kind to one another. Listening to their parents.

But kids will be kids and we have a few hiccups here and there.

Sometimes they need an even bigger reminder! That’s where the Naughty Warning comes in.

The Elf on the Shelf may be magical but he’s not that good. We all know he’s not going to curb all bad behavior during his stay with your family. After all, the Elf is known to get in a little trouble himself from time to time.

But he surely can help!

The next time your little one is caught being naughty (or they just need a little reminder) have their Elf send them an official warning from the big man himself! This is a great reminder for the kids that their Elf is always watching.
