Our Favorite Kitchen Tools

Summer has officially started and there is one place in my home that I’ve been spending a lot of time in, the kitchen. Between swimming almost every day and baseball camps, these boys have been ravenous. They are constantly eating which means I am constantly in the kitchen.

I have some go to tools in the kitchen to help me save some time and keep things running smoothly.

Reusable flatware. While we could go the use and toss route, I have found that reusable plastic flatware is better! I keep it in our lunch bag and always have it with us. Not only is it eco-friendly but it also saves money! Plus, just in case it does get it tossed, it saves your good flatware.

Ice cream scooper. What can I say? We eat a lot of ice cream during the summer! ‘Tis the season right? We have gone through our fair share of ice cream scoopers in the past to get the right one! This one is always sitting in the sink because we use it all the time!

Grilling tools. One of my favorite things about the summer is that we grill a lot. That gets me off the hook from cooking every night. For Father’s Day a few years ago, we bought my husband one of the best grilling tools sets ever! He loves the large spatula for flipping burgers.

Keeping these tools handy keeps our kitchen running smoothly! It saves me time so I can enjoy the summer fun with the kids!
