The temperatures have been climbing this past week and it feels likes summer. 90 degree weather. 100% humidity.
Yup, it’s summertime in Philadelphia. While I’d rather hibernate in the A/C under a blanket, the boys want to be outside playing. Being the awesome mom that I am, I suck it up and we get outside.
While we are outside playing in this hot, sticky weather, it’s important to keep everyone hydrated. Lots of water. Lots of fruit. And lots of frozen pops!
Last week, I whipped up some frozen lemonade and had some leftover. Instead of pouring it down the drain (that would be a tragedy), I filled up our frozen pop molds for a refreshing frozen lemonade treat.
When I see the boys getting over-heated, it’s time to take a break and cool off with an ice cold glass of water and our new favorite frozen treats. I have a feeling these frozen lemonade pops are going to be a staple in our freezer all summer long.
