Frozen Lemonade
Three simple ingredients blended together to create Frozen Lemonade, a refreshing summertime drink.
I wish the weather would make up it’s mind as to what season we are in. Some days feel like spring, some fall, a few summer. The back and forth is really messing me up. Our allergies are out of whack. The A/C is being turned on and off. I mean, come on Mother Nature, get it together!
Regardless the current weather conditions, our minds are totally focused on summer. I am starting to make our summer bucket list. The countdown until the end of school going will start soon. And we are totally into summertime food.
And what goes better with summer than lemons? I don’t know if it’s their bright sunny color but lemons just scream summer to me. Of course, we have been making lemonade and that’s a summertime staple in our house. But what if you wanted to kick it up a notch. By now, I am sure you have tried the ever popular Frozen Lemonade at Chick-Fil-A. I was a skeptic at first but it literally had me at first sip. Amazing.
One problem. I don’t want to have to drive to Chick-Fil-A every time I have a frozen lemonade craving. So I figured out how to make it at home. Which led to another problem. I can now have it whenever I want.
So friends, I am bringing you down with me and sharing my Frozen Lemonade with you. We are in it together!
This recipe couldn’t be any easier. Grab your favorite lemonade mix (mine’s Country Time), 2 containers of Cool-Whip, and 4 cups of cold water Throw it all in the blender and mix away. Serve immediately. Who am I kidding? Just throw a straw right into the blender (unplugged of course) and drink away.
The possibilities with this are endless. Throw in some strawberries! Or make it adult-friendly with a little vodka. The sky is the limit with this one!
You’re welcome.
