Summer is all about light and hearty meals that don’t heat up the kitchen. The last thing I want to do on a hot summer day is stand at the stove and make dinner.
Salads are the perfect summer meal that not only are quick and easy but are also filling.
A lot of people think that salads can get boring but the best thing about salads are that the possibilities are really endless. Start with a green, leafy base, add a ton of fresh veggies, add a little protein, and don’t forget the cheese!
I’ve had the idea for this Greek Salad for a while now. I love the heartiness of the romaine lettuce and the bite of the creamy balsamic vinaigrette. And you can’t forget about the feta cheese!
But the real star of this salad is the Open Nature® Smoked Chicken Apple Sausage!
