This summer, we are broadening our horizons when it comes to grilling! After all, when you a steady rotation of hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken, it’s nice to switch it up a bit!

This summer dinner combines the natural flavors of fresh salmon with a medley of herbs, spices, and vibrant vegetables, all cooked to perfection in a convenient foil packet. The result is a moist and flavorful salmon fillet that melts in your mouth, accompanied by tender vegetables that are infused with the savory juices of the fish.

How to Make Grilled Salmon in Foil Packs

When it comes to grilling salmon, it’s essential to start with high-quality fillets. Look for wild-caught salmon with firm flesh and a vibrant color. Opt for skin-on fillets, as they hold up better during grilling and offer an added layer of flavor.

Why Foil Packs?

One of the main advantages of grilling salmon in foil packets is its simplicity. The preparation involves assembling the ingredients in individual foil packets, which can be done in advance. The packets are then placed directly on the grill, eliminating the need for excessive handling and reducing cleanup time. It’s a hassle-free method that still delivers impressive results.

Grilling salmon in foil packets allows for the perfect balance of heat and steam, sealing in the moisture and intensifying the flavors. The foil acts as a protective barrier, preventing the fish from drying out while ensuring that the herbs, spices, and vegetables blend harmoniously, resulting in a succulent and aromatic dish.
