Man, do I love that Christmas song!

Over the past 2 weekends, the hubster and I have been getting the house decorated for Christmas. And I think we are officially done now! Of course, we had our little helper! He was just being so helpful throughout the whole process…NOT!

First, he wanted to help carry the boxes down. No, no sweetheart those boxes are at least twice your size. Then he wanted to help me set out my Christmas Village. Um, I don’t think so. The hubster did come up with something that E could help with. I have a ceramic Christmas tree that you have to put peg lights in (think Light Bright). He sat on the floor and put every light on that tree. He was so proud of himself.

After E went to bed, the hubster and I put the tree up and decorated it. There was no way we could do it while E was up. He would have been trying to help but really he would have been in the way. I think our new tree came out quite nicely, don’t you think?

And now for my favorite ornament. This ornament caught my eye this year. I don’t know if it was the lights or the placement, but I really noticed it. Every year for Christmas, my mom gets everyone a Lenox ornament. I don’t know which year this one was from, but it really is pretty. Pretty soon, I’m going to need another tree just for her ornaments!
