I Love New York

Oh New York City. One of my absolute favorite places to be. Anyone who knows me well knows of my deep love for that city. I jump at every chance I can to visit. Being only 2 hours away makes its only a short train ride or fun road trip with friends away.

My husband? He doesn’t quite understand the love I have for NYC. The hustle and bustle and crowded streets do nothing for him.  I have tried to explain it time and time again but it never really comes out right. When I am in the city, I just feel like I am supposed to be there. The city is full of priceless memories just ready to be made. I know it sounds strange to say that I feel a sense of comfort and home when in such a huge city.

But I do. After all, there are hundreds of songs written about this awesome city and why people #LoveThisCity.

New York City, Center of the Universe.

In the shadows of tall buildings.

The rumble of the subway train, the rattle of the taxis.

I want to wake up in the city that never sleeps.

In a New York minute, everything can change.

Let that city take you in.

I’m in a world so wide.  It makes me feel small sometimes.

Let’s hear it for New York, New York.
