Put Me In Coach, I’m Ready to Play

sponsored post disclosure

After watching his brother play baseball for the past year, it was finally Ben’s turn to hit the field! We signed him up for a three year old T-Ball league through Jump Start Sports.

Of course, my husband volunteered (ok I signed him up) to coach. Let me tell you that man has the patience of a saint. He works so well with the little ones and makes sure they are always having fun! I mean, he had them all sitting on the field, waiting their turns, and paying attention. I don’t know how he does it!

Jump Start Sports is a great introductory to the basics of baseball. The kids learn the basics of throwing, catching, fielding, batting, and base running, and then apply what they have learned in fun, non-competitive “games”.

Jump Start Sports believes childhood participation in sports should involve pure fun. It should build teamwork, character, and sportsmanship. At Jump Start Sports, we believe these qualities and attributes are as fundamental as dribbling, kicking, passing, shooting, throwing, or scoring.

Ben had so much fun this summer that we signed up again for the fall. You know what that means? I’ll have two playing baseball this fall! Fingers crossed our schedules don’t overlap!
