LOST Recap

Real life has really gotten in the way of blogging this week! But here it is:

Episode 5×12: Dead is Dead

• This episode had me on pins and needles, especially when Ben was walking through his house. Oh and when he went to pull the drain. I was just waiting for something to reach up and grab him.
• One of the things that sticks in my head from the episode is the exchange between Illana and Frank. She asks Frank “What lies in the shadow of the statute?” What she’s getting at is any one’s guess. It seems as if she has some tie to the island. I think she is working for Widmore.
• As we’ve seen before, Smokey can take on the form of a human to deliver a message. After judging Ben, Smokey transformed into Alex to scare Ben straight. Smokey had to get the point across that Locke is very important and that he needs to listen to and help him. Now the question is, will Ben listen to Smokey and become one of Locke’s followers.
• We’ve been waiting since Episode 6 to see what happened at the Marina. And we still don’t know. We know that Ben went there to kill Penny. But did he? He see Des beat the crap out of him but then that’s it. I WANT TO KNOW!
