As you all know by know, I was cornered, asked to volunteer. asked to organize a few bake sales at my son’s school. The first bake sale is coming up and so far everything has been smooth sailing.I hope the other two will be a piece of cake {see what I did there} as well.
When it was time for me to think of what I was going to make for the bake sale, I knew I needed something that would be quick and easy. After all, I was organizing the entire sale but I had to contribute something. Right away, I knew Krispie Treats were my go to.
But I wanted to mix it up a bit. Last year, I made Trix Treats to change it up. It was a hit so I started to think of other cereals I could use. The one I kept thinking back to was Lucky Charms.
Lucky Charm Krispies are made just like you would make your ole’ Rice Krispie Treats. Melt your marshmallows and butter and throw in the Lucky Charms. Mix it all together and press it into a pan. I mean seriously, could any kind of cereal treat be any easier!
As for the next two upcoming bake sales, I think I’ll be trying out some other cereal treats, like maybe Cocoa Krispies or Fruity Pebbles!
