Magical Moments and Disney Baby’s Little Character Contest

When I was pregnant with Benny, I used to think about the bond that he and E would share as brothers. Would they be best friends? How long would that take to appear?

The answer. Not long.

From the moment Benny was born, E slipped into the role of big brother effortlessly. When they brought Benny into the NICU, he demanded to know why they took his baby into that room. He asked for days on end when his baby was coming out of that room.

And when he finally did, I think he may have been more excited about it that the hubster and I.

He didn’t stop there. Every day I see it. He’s always trying to help his little brother, play with him, show him new things.

The moments that pull at my heart are when I catch Benny looking up to him. You can see in his eyes that he adores his “Yah-E”.

I love catching them when they are off by themselves, having a special moment, just the two of them. I can’t wait to catch more magical moments like this one.

I hope these moments don’t end and that their bond grows stronger.
