Medifast Weight Loss: Week 2
Week 2 is in the book! I found myself going to my old favorites this week: brownies, S’Mores Crunch Bars, and White Cheddar Soy Crisps! These 3 things make me feel like I’m cheating!
Another favorite? Taco salads! I could seriously eat a taco salad every night for dinner. We usually have tacos one night a week and I am not even missing the shells! This past week, I was a little sneaky. Instead of using the usual Reduced Sodium Taco Seasoning, I slipped in the Medifast Fajita Seasoning. No one knew the difference!
So how did I do?
Medifast Weight Loss Stats:
Starting weight: 167.2 lbs. on 1/1/13 {It pains me to write that number!}
Lost Week 2: 1.3 lbs!
Total Lost So Far: 5.8 lbs!
Current Weight: 161.4 lbs on 1/16/13
That number could have been way more! This weekend was really hard for me. We were out all day Saturday and the temptations were everywhere. I did pack my food in attempts to resist the temptations. But the temptations won. But just for the day! I have a really hard time saying no to pizza!
Sunday was a new day and I moved on. I learned last year that you can’t beat yourself up over one bad day. If you do, one bad day will turn into two bad days which turn into a bad week and so on. We are only human and we will fall sometimes. We just have to learn to pick ourselves right back up and get on the horse!
Another issue I have been having is drinking all of my water. I think my weight loss could have been a little bit more had I pushed through and drank all of my water. Even though I only lost 1.3 lbs, my jeans are starting to fit better and I don’t feel as puffy! I’ll put that in the non-scale victory column.

Congrats on your weight loss! I had a really bad day yesterday when I went “out” for lunch, but today is a much better day! I’m doing Weight Watchers and I love the plan! Good luck on the rest of your journey!
