The Meeting of the Minds

I am sure you are all pretty done with hearing me bitch whine complain talk about not going to BlogHer. You can all breath a sigh a relief now that it is all over.

But I wasn’t the only one who was depressed bummed about not going. I belong to an awesome hyperlocal group {PSMM} who are a huge support system when it comes to blogging and social media. A bunch of us who were not fortunate enough to make it out to San Diego decided to stop sitting around and feeling sorry about not being there and get off our butts and do something spectacular.

And we did.

Saturday night, we met up for drinks and yummy apps at The Monkey Bar. We talked, we drank, we talked some more {and drank some more}. We strategized for next year’s BlogHer. We shared blogging tips. We made connections. We had a fantabulous night.

It truly is amazing what one can accomplish when surrounded by the right people and have the right timing. Seriously, what we managed to accomplish in those three short hours blew me away.

But it didn’t end there.

This little meetup jump started my creative process and my mind has been working over time ever since. It was exactly what I needed.

Things are going to start getting interesting!
