sponsored postThis time of year is filled with moments when a smartphone camera just won’t do, which it is why it is essential to have the right camera with the right features. Fortunately, Best Buy can help. Best Buy can help you never miss the important sprint time moments with a wide assortment of the latest cameras, including DSLR cameras, action camcorders, and compact cameras with long zoom, low light and WiFi.

Being the photographer in the family, I am always looking at the latest and greatest gear out there. And you better believe that I have some camera gear on my Mother’s Day List. Do you have a snap-happy momma on your list? Here are some great photography gift ideas that will be make her day!

mothers day gift guide for the photographer

1. 10″ Digital Picture Frame – After mom is done snapping away, she is going to need something display all of those beautiful photos on. I love my digital photo frame. It comes in handy during special events when you want to show off your pictures. If you are planning on surprising mom with a digital photo frame, make sure you use this coupon for an additional 25% off on bestbuy.com!

2. Nikon d7000 – Ah, my baby! She hasn’t left my side since she came to me earlier this year.

3. A fancy new strap – This is high on my list! I am bored of the black strap I bought years ago and I am ready for something a little more fun {and feminine!}.

40 Nikon 1 – There  are times when I just don’t want to lug my baby around. The Nikon 1 is the perfect camera to take along in place of the d7000. It has a lot of the same features as a dSLR with the compact size of a point and shoot.

If you are shopping for a photographer, Best Buy has some great deals just in time for Mother’s Day! With Best Buy’s low price guarantee, you’ll get the latest technology at the best price.  Also? There is FREE shipping on all cameras on bestbuy.com! If you are looking to upgrade to a new camera, just bring your old camera to Best Buy and trade it in for a Best Buy gift card.

What is on your Mother’s Day list this year?

The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free.

Great recommendations! I have a D5100, but my point and shoot Canon is on it’s way out so I’ve been dancing around the Nikon 1 – especially because it comes in PINK! 🙂

Love how you can show case your personality in your camera strap – what a great idea! (and easily interchangeable)

I am of an age where I still use a “real” camera instead of a telephone. Thanks for sharing this.

I can’t wait until I can score a “real” camera! I drool over yours when I see it:)
