My Kind of Town…Chicago Is

I would be lying if I told you I took in the sites while visiting Chicago. Truth is, I barely had a chance to explore and see the city. But, what I did see was gorgeous and clean and friendly! A big shocker to this East Coast girl. We did have time to make the walk down to Navy Pier.

It was so strange to me to see the “lake” right next to the city. And I am sorry. That is no lake. You should be able to see the other side if it’s a lake. Am I wrong people?!

I did get to experience why it is called the Windy City. The weather was absolutely perfect and a welcoming change to the 100% humidity and 100 degree plus weather we were experience in Philly the week before. windy city

We will definitely be making plans to head back soon!
