How to Make Nutter Butter Turkey Cupcake Toppers

You don’t need any special kitchen equipment to make these Nutter Butter Flip Flop Cookies so there’s no excuse not to make it right now!

All you need is:

— Red Icing: I like to buy the pre-made icing in the pouch because it makes it easier to pipe…and it’s less mess!

— Rainbow Chip Crunch: These sprinkle chips are the perfect beaks for your turkeys!

— Edible Eye Balls: I love how these eyes add personality to your turkeys!

— Nutter Butters: If you are making these for a party, grab the family package! You can make a lot of these in a short amount of time. I guarantee they’ll be a hit!

Start by carefully cutting your Nutter Butters in half. Use a serrated knife with a rocking back and forth motion to minimize breakage. Don’t worry if the bottoms of your turkey heads are jagged, they will be covered with cupcake icing!

Next, using icing, place your turkeys eyes and beak onto the Nutter Butter. Let dry.

Using red icing, add your turkey’s snood! Did you know that the red fleshy thing that hangs under the turkey’s beak is called a snood? Neither did I!

Once your turkeys are completely dry, gently slide a toothpick in between the cookie layers. If your toothpicks are too big, cut them in half!
