Party Planning Mode | your three words

Next month, my Benny will be Baptized. That means I am in full party planning mode. I promised the hubster that I would keep it simple {and under budget} so I have been searching all over the internet looking for ideas.

First, I started with the invitation. I had a gift card from some holiday photo promotion to Shutterfly so I decided to use it. I was very surprised at the outcome! It has been awhile since I bought photo cards from Shutterfly and they have come a long way!

Next, I turned to my new friend, Pinterest, for decoration ideas. I was not disappointed!

I am a little obsessed with Mason Jars at the moment so I will be doing centerpieces like this for the tables. I love how simple this is.

I am going to attempt to make this banner {or possibly give up and buy on Etsy}.

I decided that I am going to due cupcakes in a jar as favors and skip getting a huge cake.

Instead of having cake, I am going to do a dessert bar {and hope that it looks like this}.

There you have it! Benny’s Baptism Party. Think I can pull it off?

  5. Very cute! I had done all white flowers as well in different sized jars/vases for Parker's Baptism… I also did all while balloons which ended up looking so pretty outside in the patio where we had all of the tables set up. Can't wait to see pictures! 🙂

  6. Oh I know it will be a wonderful celebration for your little cutie pie. Love blue mason jars with flowers( one of my favorite things). God Bless, and I love the invitation . Hugs!

  7. I did cupcakes in a jar for a party recently and they were a huge hit! A couple of tips…make sure the cupcakes are on the smaller side (makes them easier to get into the jar) like no more than half full in the tin. And have your frosting be a little on the not so thick side. I had pretty thick icing and it got all over the sides of the jars and made them look a little messier than I would have liked.
