Pinterest For Dummies {Giveaway!}
We all know how much I am addicted to Pinterest. And I know how much you are addicted as well.
Most of us use Pinterest as a daily time suck to find food that we will never make and crafts that will never get crafted. But for some people, Pinterest is a little hard to get into. They don’t know what to do or how to use it.
Luckily, there is a great book out now, Pinterest for Dummies.
Pinterest for Dummies walks you through the website platform. It includes how to request an invitation and set up an account. Next, you’re shown how to find people to follow and connect your other social networks to the site. Once you get the hang of pinning, you learn how to use the community features such as commenting, liking, and using hashtags. Finally, learn how to utilize Pinterest for every event planning {my current favorite}, recipe organization, and much, much more!
If you are blogger, Pinterest can be very beneficial in driving traffic to your site. Chapter 10 of Pinterest for Dummies explains how to self-promote on Pinterest. The biggest take away from this chapter for me {and I think is very important to bloggers} is to make sure you spend time engaging and interacting on topics that are of mutual interest to your followers. Then you can sprinkle in some self-promotion! I have found {and I’m sure most of you have too} that Pinterest can be a powerful driver for traffic!

I just started to do Pintrest I mostly use it for getting new ideas.
I adore Pinterest. I don’t like how all the brands are taking over, but I’d love to read this book. Kelby wrote it? How cool! She just invited me to moderate at her conference.
I use Pinterest to get ideas for my jobs.
I recently joined Pintrest and want to use it for redecorating ideas for my bedroom.
