Shopping with Boys

When you have two young kids, it gets difficult to go clothes shopping in a brick and mortar store. These days, I like to do my shopping like this…

…from the comfort of my house on my couch watching reality TV.  When I’m shopping from home, I don’t have to hear a three year old complain that he wants to leave the store or ask for another toy. Even better, I can shop with peace and quiet.

Since being a mom of two, I have let special occasions creep on me and I’m always looking for something at the last minute. Not this holiday! Easter is coming up next month and I will be prepared this time! I hopped on the *Hartstrings website to see what they had to offer. I have shopped at *Hartstrings before {we have an outlet near us} and I love their clothing for something special.

As soon as I saw this polo shirt, I knew I had to get it for Benny.

I mean how adorable is that! I knew the hubster would love it as well since he is a big golf player.

But I wasn’t just shopping for Benny, I knew I had to get something for E as well. Something blue, his favorite color. I knew the *Hartstrings Sand Dune collection would have just the right thing.

As I was searching through the website, I started wishing I had a little girl. The kc parker line has the most absolutely adorable little girl dresses, hair bows, and accessories. Thank goodness I have nieces! I’ll be buying them a few things for their birthdays!

After I placed my order, I anxiously awaited for my package to arrive so I could try the new tops on the boys. As soon as I opened up the package, I knew I made the right choices.

When E put his new polo shirt on, I couldn’t get over how much older he looked. He’s growing up way too fast!

And let’s not even begin to discuss how big and grown up my 9 month old looks. I’m in denial that he will be one in a few short months.

E loved his shirt so much that he didn’t want to take it off! He asked if we could go somewhere “fancy” soon so he could look handsome again!

In the end, everyone was happy. I didn’t get frustrated trying to shop with the two of them in a store. E loved his shirt! And Benny, well Benny, just looks too stinkin’ cute!
