I have spent the past few days down and out on the couch with a chest cold. This one has really knocked me out.
I have spent a lot of time curled up on the couch trying to get warm and soothe my aches and pains.
When you’re sick, there are a few things to keep in mind to help make you feel better.
- Warm and cozy. When I am under the weather, I tend to be very cold and have a hard time getting warm, even when I have a fever. Fuzzy blankets and slippers are a must in helping me get comfortable.
- Hydration. It’s true. Keeping hydrated when you are sick is so important, especially when you have a fever or have the stomach bug. Between warm teas and cold water, you have a lot of options on being hydrated.
- Self-care. This can be hard, especially for us moms. But it’s important to listen to your body and allow yourself to take care of you and rest.
