We all know that Star Wars is huge right now. And if you didn’t, you are living under a rock. My boys are obsessed. I’m obsessed. And, even though he doesn’t show it, my husband is obsessed.
I am thinking ahead to Valentine’s Day and I know that the boys are going to want Star Wars Valentines again. We did them a few years ago and they were an instant hit!
I have never been a huge fan of the store-bought Valentines because why should I do something simple. Instead, each year, I create our own. Last year, we did Minecraft Valentines. It’s funny how the same themes keep circling back year after year.
I knew the boys would be excited over The Force Awakens Valentines especially with their new favorite character BB8. He is a cute little droid. This year’s Valentines include the new characters: Rey, Finn, BB8, Kylo Ren, Poe, and Han Solo. Can you believe I left Han out of the original Valentines?
These cards were designed you can add glow sticks as light sabers with the help of some double-sided tape. You can even use Pixie Sticks if you want a candy treat for your child’s classmates. They fit perfectly in regular No. 10 envelopes. I recommend printing them on heavy cardstock or send them off to Staples to do the work.
