All Aboard for a National Train Day: Crafts PLUS a #Giveaway
National Train Day is fast approaching on May 10th! I don’t know about your kids but mine love trains. We usually visit the local railroad, Strasburg Railroad, at least one a year to take a ride and check out the trains.
Did you know that Strasburg Railroad is America’s oldest shortline? Strasburg Railroad offers a larger-than-life steam train and that will take you on a 45-minute ride through the tranquil Amish countryside to Paradise, PA and back. Marvel at more than 1,000 acres of farm fields as they pass by your window.
Strasburg Railroad is ready to celebrate National Train Day next week! To help you celebrate National Train Day, I gathered some fun train crafts for you and your little ones to do.

Painting with Toy Trains on Canvas: I think this has to be the coolest Train craft that I have found. Not only does it let the kids get creative, you also get a pretty cool piece of art to hang in your home.

Toilet Paper Tube Train: Who doesn’t have a ton of empty toilet paper or paper towel tubes laying around the house?

Fingerpaint Train Craft: This is so simple but so much fun! You could also do a few of these on canvas and use them to decorate a train lovers room.
